It seems that these have jumped on average up at least 100USD.

Are these simply rarer editions all cropping up in time for the holidays?

Or is this the new paradigm in pricing?

As no-one replied, I'll add the note I couldn't when this was originally posted on the other forum. (Thanks for reposting, aspekt :)).

Given the 11th November date, personally I thought this auction didn't end horribly high but it would be good if the winner could confirm the answer to the obvious question that couldn't be asked due to the seller's settings rejecting all non-US questions.
