Was wondering about shrinkwrap and if there were markers to watch for in determining original from 3rd party shrinkwrap. I am including photos of an item that first made me question this.
The few bookstores I have worked for would, at times, perform a second
SW on an item if returned, in mostly perfect condition, and the product had originally been in
SW. The difference could typically be told by observing the looser folds of the plastic and the seam, which was often thicker than a factory or press
SW.
Does this hold true of TSR items? Or was there enough variation in physical presses to make the differences unusable for determining
SW.
