I have a question for the group. I don't know much about art so could use the help.

I have an original Roslof done in pencil. It is about 14" x 14". If I were smart enough, I would attach a photo.

I am trying to get everything properly insured, but I have no idea on original art.

Thanks.

Alex

When you post a message there's an "Upload attachment" option below the text box. ;)

Or else, choose an off-site host;
e.g. DumpYourPhoto - A free and easy photo hosting service - just drag your file onto "Upload a photo" then click "Share" and cut-and-paste the full text in the box under "UBB image" directly into your message.

... simple(ish). :)

The Gamehole wrote in Roslof Original:I have an original Roslof done in pencil. It is about 14" x 14".

Published art, prelim for published art or otherwise?

With few exceptions color work is where the large money is, of course, but given that one of Roslof's small originals for a Monster Card went for what I'd've thought was a very high price - into four digits for what was just a "generic animal" rather than a D&D-specific monster - even a big step down from that for a much larger pencil work should still be non-trivial...

Uploading (either way) a photo would be very helpful, of course! :)

Thanks to another helpful member, I have learned that this is a color pencil prelim for the cover of the Top Secret module "Rapidstrike"

Thanks for the help!

That's a fabulous piece. My favorite module of one of my favorite games.

Hector.
