IGHIP Newsletter is the official newsletter/journal of the Interest Group Highland Park (Michigan). This group would later become the Metro Detroit Gamers (Fazzlewood, TSR's Inverness, etc.).
I have a set of journals spanning from issue #4 through issue #39. The date range is January 1973 through December 1975, Mostly it deals with general activities based around wargames (heavy Diplomacy) as you would guess from that era. But there are some fascinating pieces dealing with many popular SPI products (Middle Earth) among others. Lots of variant ideas.
But the really cool items include a reference on how to buy this new game called Dragons and Dungeons (yes, they got the name wrong) from TSR for $10 including exactly how to order it. That is found in issue 25 (September 1974). Several issues later we get a DM's Log of sorts for those running an adventure. There are other items in several other issues. An article in issue 37 deals with using d6 to generate numbers when you can't get your hands on those impossible to find polyhedral dice!

Issues are #4 (missing cover page) through #39. Missing 8, 11, 14, 23, 27, 31, 33, 35, 38.

I can't imagine there are many surviving copies of this journal anywhere.

Thinking of putting up on ebay, but I would some advice first.
