Which perhaps, in a circuitous way, isn't such a bad thing if that reduces the likelihood of people ditching or accidentally losing their "old gaming books" over the years?

You could get Chris Holmes to sign it in lieu of his father. From what I hear he was at NTRPG con last year. Sort of like Bonham's son filling in for Led Zeppelin.
