I realise that I am probably in a pretty small minority here in that I (also) collect TSR / roleplaying mugs, but this was possibly worth commenting on:

In case anyone was watching this - the Gahan Wilson Call of Cthulhu mugs came in pairs. You do not see them very often (nor do you see the Chaosium Miskatonic University mugs that often). BUT if I recall correctly, the recently finished Cthulhu 7th Edition Kickstarter included a set of mugs with the same design (or similar). You may see these appearing more often.

PS. Yes, it was a bit pricey I thought  :D

Can you please remind me of what this one looks like, Steven?  IIRC it was black with red lettering/design in a circular crest, perhaps??  I'm fairly sure I had a CoC mug at some point, but I assume it got broken :(

Hmmmm, that's different than the one I had, Steven.  I'll have to dig around to see if I can find any pics of it (it was definitely a black mug, and I thought it had red letters/picture/whatever).

I would not be surprised if there were different kinds Allan. This is a mug they put out 1990 (hence the 1690-1990 anniversary joke)*  ... I would think that Chaosium put out others since then (they did at one stage recently have a wide range of different T Shirts - some of which I thought looked cool, so why not other mugs), so would be interested to see what you have. Also, there are others not from Chaosium, e.g. HP Lovecraft historical society, and a few you can see on cafe press etc...

* As an Irishman I should add that 1690 has a whole other historical significance
