I guess prices have returned to normal - no crazy $100+ prices.

This should go back to October sales. When were these going fro $100 a pop? Were they the ones with the adventures that said RPGA?

It was a little while back (maybe a year ago) there was a brief surge where some of the high numbered ones, in the 140s were selling for $100.  I'm sure it was a consequence of timing where two buyers desperately wanted them at all costs but it caused a value spike for a little while.

Right!

Then I believe BadMike put one or two up for shits-and-grins at some insane price, and one of them actually sold...   :D

What do you suspect Zenfinite's lot is worth?   :?:

Polyhedron run 38-81 WITH mailing covers!!

I know that some of the mailing covers also contain at least a page of the magazine. Not sure if these issues do, but I'd think a collector would put a higher value on the issues with mailing covers than those without.

A collector would want them with mailing covers but since these were generally mailed out (not available on store shelves) and as mentioned often contained info on the mailing cover, most copies that sell come with the mailing cover; i.e. I don't think a collector pays a premium for the mailing cover (like they do with Dragon) but its more that copies without the mailing cover are considered low grade or incomplete.
