A friend of mine has a 6th? print DMG that he describes like this-

"I have a 1e original DMG cover with the first 32 pages upside down... And it was backwards number order... 32 was the first page."

He is wondering if anyone has ever seen something like this and perhaps if there is a market for something like this?

Hardback rulebooks are (very) occasionally found this way (all printed books have similar errors from time to time).  It was simply an error at the printers, where a group of pages was rotated the wrong direction before being bound.

Very rarely will printing errors such as this favor the value -- usually, they'll detract from it.

Thanks. So it's not like a coin with the print stamp off.

It would have been awesome had it been Deities and Demigods (with Cthulhu) and it was that section that was inverted and placed in backward.

Those who can, don't. Those who should not, do.
