I would like to ask the forums assistance in assigning a condition to the two Items mentioned above.  If memory serves, I purchased these from Gary Gygax's store in Lake Geneva.  I lived in Chicago and made numerous visits while they still had their store there.  I am the original owner, and they have never left my possession.

Lost Tomoachan

This is item number 244 of the 300 unit set.  It is not in quite as good shape.  There is some folded edge wear on the cover, but the most prominent blemish is the minor rust line from a paper clip that was on the top edge.  The line is front and rear, and the paper is slightly warped(?) from the pressure of the paperclip.  I could press this out, but am interested in how I could remove the rust marks, and not damage the value.  This one is also in the original zip lock bag.

Thanks Roger AKA Thorvaldor

Best advice to give: Do nothing to it.

Leave it as is... it looks great...   :D

If you're looking to sell it, I'm sure you'll get plenty of bids on it here on this site.

And if you do look to sell it here, please don't grab the first PM you receive, take the advice in the other post and ensure you get it's true worth, rather than someone here trying to score a cheap copy.

Someone had posted a grade and suggested pricing right after this was posted, and no that post is gone ... they must have decided to delete it.

Basically it said:

The GT was F~VF and worth about $1500.00 (good place to work from)

The LT was VG and worth about $1000 (another good start)

In my opinion, the rust should be left, but it will also make the LT harder to sell, even at a lower grade...

You got my email about listing it with reserves if you want to save it for a later time when prices look better, but some things are selling pretty good. I have sold 2 GTs and LT plus a few other odds and ends over the last 6 months at the listed prices for grades here with no problems.

Thanks to everyone for the input!  I have listed the Lost Tomoachan on RPGmarketplace as item number #119714.
