I have a couple items I can get ahold of...

One is a Wrath of the Immortals box set, in shrink wrap.
My question is... can anyone assist me in verifying if the srink wrap is the originaly wrap.
It is on snug, but a bit rippley?  Not super tight.
Light, thin plastic, fragile type.
The back has that overlap similar to the models around that time, but the 2 ends are not sealed to each other.

Second item is a FGU Citadel - A Quest within a Wizards Tower - pale card stock cover game book.
Looks to be Excellent quality. Might be complete, I need to get the time to go through it thoroughly.
Any ideas on the range of value for this one, if it is complete?

Thank you for your time :)

Between 10 to $40. No more. Mostly in the $15-25 range.

I think I paid $15 for my uncut copy of Citadel within the past 6-9 months. I wouldn't pay the $55 that NKG's asking on Ebay and I don't know many that would.

Post a picture, if you can, of the SW.  From your description, it could be legitimate.

Things to look for:

-Does it look professionally done? No, then probably aftermarket
-Is there excess plasitic at the sealed edge? No, then probably aftermarket
-Are there any holes in the SW? Yes, then probably original
-Is there any damage such as rubbing or scratching to the box inside? Yes, then probably aftermarket

Thanks everyone :)

Wrath of Immortals:
I have pics of someone's shrinked copy.  Looks similar, but not as tight.
I will have to review the held copy again and take photos of that.

-Does it look professionally done? No, then probably aftermarket
Yes and not.  It seems slightyl off and loose comparatively.  Yet, I have never seen someone reshrink anything in the same style with the folded wrap on the backside.
-Is there excess plasitic at the sealed edge? No, then probably aftermarket
I will have to recheck when I can get photos...
-Are there any holes in the SW? Yes, then probably original
I will have to recheck.  There was some slight tears in the wrap...
-Is there any damage such as rubbing or scratching to the box inside? Yes, then probably aftermarket
The corners hade some minor rubbing, but the shrink was also open on a couple of the bottom corners, where it was rubbed

If anyone is interested I just came across an awesome collectors D&D item. It's a original wood grain boxed set 3rd print rare 1975!
Check it out:

Sweet.  Original shrink wrap.
It has those little holes on front and back, and it was more snuggly wrapped than I recalled and looked comparable to the photos I was given of a wrapped box.

Thanks :)
