Received these guys in a batch recently, and don't see any values on their respective pages.

The G1 is at best in GD condition. Several colored in images; staple rust; pencil notes. Well used.

The D2 is better, might qualify as VG, though the perforated maps have been (cleanly) removed but are present. Slightly rusted, no writing noted. Might be a good placeholder in a collection.

The batch might have storage odor. I'll have to get them sniffed by someone with a working schnoz to find out.

A chorus of croaking frogs singing at night can match that :)

Pictures would be helpful, could be why the crickets and frogs are having a sing-along.
I will give this a shot though.

G1 with all its issues... not much, no matter which printing it is.
If for sale, I would add it into a group of other similar RPG items.

D2 minor issues, the smell is bothersome though.
That needs clarity, but if that issue is not bad, then your assessment seems right to me.
Placeholder/Playing copy... maybe $7?

I know pictures wont convey smells, but despite what some BIG TIME re-sellers say, they help with visuals and are worth more than mere words.

The UK versions are worth more, but they're worth more to collectors, who tend to want things in solid shape.  At the lower end of the scale, my guess is there probably isn't much of a premium - maybe 10-20% over a comparable US copy.  If you really want to know, stick 'em on ebay at $0.99 each and see what happens.  :D
