I've had a huge stack of D&D material sitting around since the mid 80's, I was wondering how I might go about selling it. It's very heavy - about 90 lbs - so shipping seems prohibitively expensive. Anyway, here is the AD&D stuff. All should be considered in VG condition for appraisal purposes except for a few still in shrinkwrap. Does anything stand out as being particularly rare?

Thanks!

The H series modules are good sellers usually in the $25-$30 range with a bit of patience (in shrink more).

The Supermodules usually do well:
GDQ1-7 always does well - in excellent shape $75-$90
I3-5 maybe $35-$45
S1-4 $25-$30

I12, and RS1 often do well too - $25+.

The items in shrink that you have will probably do well too.  FGA3 in shrink would probably be $25+ it seems tough to find these ones with the cardboard buildings.  WG10 in shrink probably only $10-$15 (they seem really common).

Most of the others are quite common and would be in the $5-$10, higher if they are in particularly nice shape though.

Other people have asked this questions many times, so a quick search should find you loads of opinions/feedback on this question.  The bottom line is that you can go one of two extremes which is to sell everything at once to someone on these forums (or another D&D forum) and get quicker money and lower return, or sell things individually on eBay which takes more time and trouble but significantly increases your profit by maybe 20 to 25%.  There are compromises like selling the higher value stuff individually and the more common stuff all together in one lot.

There are other options, but don't think for a moment that anyone on these forums is going to offer maximum value for everything.  However, when it comes to advice, there are few places where you can find people who know their D&D better. Good luck!   8)

Truth is worth finding and life is too short to work for money.

Generally, I think if you want to sell it as one big lot, expect to get 50% of the value.  Lately, I've been trying to move a bunch of stuff out the door and have gone the mini lot method on Ebay.  I've been happy with the results - not the highest prices but reasonable ones.
