I just listed some of my old D&D stuff on ebay.   In trying to figure out the editions and valuations I came here and found most of what I wanted.  (Thanks, guys!)

What I didn't find, though is Dungeonmaster's Index by Dave Arneson, indexing the 1974 D&D plus Supplements plus Strategic Review.  1977 with no publisher given, leading me to suspect that Dave self-published it.  I *think* I purchased it in a gaming store, though.

There's a little storage wear on the cover, plus a surface ding; interior is pristine - overall VF to VF+ by my comics grading standards.

Any opinions on the value?

TIA

There's a copy for $70 on Amazon; ebay auctions usually yield less, although there's an ebay BIN for $85.

Thanks.  I saw the ebay BIN, but couldn't believe the $$ given the wretched condition.

I had to pull the auction and re-start since ebay won't allow me to correct mistakes (like mis-spelling Dave Arneson's name) or replacing the pic with a scan once someone has bid.

Can anyone tell me:
    did Dave self-publish?
is there only the one printing?
if self-published was it symptomatic or causal of his rift with TSR?

I don't see your auction on ebay (try posting it to the Acaeum's classified forum).

Interesting. I can't find any information about a Publisher for this product. This is just after leaving TSR. Later, the same year, publishes the FFC through JG. I am not sure which year his company, Adventure Games, was established, but probably around 1979.

Heritage Models. (Smart choice, IMHO).
