Yes there is interest in your stuff.   :o

I think that RS1 in the SW should easily get $50 - $75, or more.

hehe...the reason behind it, is VERY GOOD...just stinks having the bills for it. I had fairly good insurance and it still cost me roughly $1500 for the birth of my son 6 years ago.

It cost me 5,000 dollars for a one night hospital stay about five years ago. My insurance only paid 2,000 of it. I feel your pain about parting with personal items to pay bills.

Well, if it was a new addition to the family, my statement still holds. Although I'm pretty sure I didn't turn out better than expected.

Thought I would list the great stuff I won or bought at the 2011 NTRPG con:

Lamentations of the Flame Princess (Boxed Set)  by James Raggi
Hammer of the God (adventure for lotfp)  by James Raggi
The Grinding Gear (adventure for lotfp)  by James Raggi

Digest Adventures:
Onto the Devil's Skiller/Stirge by Tim Kask
Hive of the Wasp Men/The Dark Abbot of Kos by Steve Winter
Snake Riders of the Aradondo by Tim Kask
Tourist Traps by Dennis Sustere
The Dwarven Goly (Reproduction)
The Ghost Tower of Inverness (Reproduction)

RJK-1 The Original Bottle City by Robert J. Kuntz
B1 Legacy of the Unknown  By Bill Barsh
I1 Grave of the Unknown  By Bill Barsh
TM2 Storm Over Skyreach  By Bill Barsh
All is not Well in Boskidell By Tim Kask

Cairn of the Skeleton King Art Reprints
OSRIC Rule Book (Hardcover)
OSRIC Monster Book (Hardcover)
Reaper Ghost Money $25 (Coupon)

Ink Painting by Paul Jaquays

I am extremely honored to have the "All is not Well in Boskidell" adventure as there are only 6 in existence.  I collect Tim.  His storylines are out of the box and they are fantastic.  Anything he puts out there I'm after except clothes (Talk to Braction about that).  Tim goes the extra mile in the production of these adventures.  Tim has used Walter Simon as the artist on this adventure and Snake Riders of the Aradondo.  Walter is truely an extrodinary artist.  He's kind of been Tim's secret but with this adventure out there and other works in the piple line Walter is a secret no more.

Yeah the bills are for the birth of my daughter.

I think I'll take offers up to Friday (for those items listed) Then ponder want lists, etc after that.

Thanks,
ShaneG.

Yeah, sure. We know you thought you were posting in the, "Nah, nah, nee boo boo, I just bought a bunch of stuff and you need money" thread :).

On a serious note, I wish I had the cash at the moment to buy some of this stuff.

Reminds me I need to thank my lucky stars we have/had a good health care plan. It never even occurred to me to expect a bill when we had our children. And one never came.

Reminds me to thank my lucky stars we live in the UK.  I know there are probably people here who think Obama is a communist and Government provided health care is the slippery slope to totalitarianism but for all its faults (and it has many) the NHS has always looked after my family and they have received excellent treatment without having to worry about the cost of it.

sorry to hear about the insurance/lack of situation, but I wanted to wish a belated congratulations on your new baby girl.

fwiw in case you haven't tried this, you might be able to negotiate down the hospital bill. For a trip to the ER one time, for some reason our insurance wouldn't cover a good percentage of it, but we were able to haggle them down a ways. I think the hospitals just all seem to fire off bills based on their inflated amounts that are sent off to the insurance companies.

I found this multi-page article (I know it's in regards to California however), but just from a google search on "hospital bill negotiation" I saw other info posted.
