*yay* to hear that! :)

Knowing the other two winning bidders, you might've been a bit lucky even as it was - and spot on about saving on postage /and/ ensuring they'd arrive in the same condition as a "block purchase" rather than risking one or two at a time. I'll be amused, though, if the next similarly fine copies end up being sold from the UK to the US in return!

I won some aussie mods (amongst other things) from Stephen that were in incredible shape a while back ago, so I can attest to his quality products and excellent shipping.

If I remember well, I won Gnat's SW G1, G2 and G3, firs ed. (lizard logo) for $100 each.
It was 2 years ago.

They were posted on E-Bay in Mid-Late July 2008
Each Module was listed individually in a regular 7 day auction.

Each module was a First Print in original SW in Near Mint condition…
Well, I called them Near Mint in the listings.
IIRC I think they each had very SLIGHT warping... from the SW drawing up on itself over the years.
Otherwise they were very close to minty.

They sold as follows:
G1 = $104
G2 = $109.18
G-3 = $107.76

I fairly well insisted on sending them in a larger box with extra padding to avoid most instances of postal abuse.

While I was pleased they reached the amounts above, I was not all that happy to send them off.
But I am glad that they went to a person who appreciated them.

I do have another mint set of 1st Print G Modules in the original SW though.
But those wont be sold as long as I can avoid doing so.

Of course I had said that about another even more expensive module I sold not that long ago too.
