Just lucked into one of these in a lot.  It's version 2.0, all still nice and lovely in the shrinkwrap.  Mars and I have been talking about it a bit... what does the group think this may be worth?  What if I de-shrink it?  (feel free to prevent this by offering me an open copy plus something in trade)

First off dont deshrink it. If LC5 is worth money LC5 in shrink is worth more. This is just basic collecting 101 and unless you have a definite immediate need for the contents of LC5 then let it sit in shrink till you do.

I disagree. I deshrink every SW item I buy. It all depends on *why* you collect this stuff. If you are collecting as an investment, with the intent to resale for a profit somewhere down the road, then yes, you should leave it in SW. If you are collecting because you enjoy looking at, reading, and playing with these old gaming items then deshrink them and enjoy them as they were meant to be enjoyed.

It's rare, as in it wasn't really advertised as an LC product (as opposed to any other D&D source book being officially released). It was (originally) more to be distributed to the LC members than for a general release.

You could get at least $50 for it.

You wouldn't happen to have the LC6 book, would you?

RPG’s, D&D in particular has had a major influence in my life. It’s bonded me together with life long friends...it’s that bond in life not just as friends, but in our jokes, our mannerisms, and what we find funny. Invincible Overlord

Actually, it sort of was... proof later today (need to take some pics).

NKG says $120:  https://www.nobleknight.com/ProductDeta ... GenreID_E_

So really probably more like half that.
