I have two Double Sided Large size Judges Guild Maps that puzzle me.
Wish to learn what set they belong to (If any) and anything else that anyone might know about them.

I obtained the two large JG Maps pictured below through a large lot of items from various publishers, including some Judges Guild stuff.
I have no idea what set or package the maps originally came from and I did not find them on the JG Site (list) either.
That does not mean they are not there, I just did not find them.
One of the odd things about the maps is the Hex Grids are 1/8", rather than 1/2" Hex Grids like with my other JG maps.

They are described as follows:
Both Maps are yellowish in color and printed on the standard heavy weight Judges Guild Bond Paper.
Both maps are the same size (20" x 29").
Other than Map Details; there are no labels on either map, no Logos, no dates, no addresses, no copyright info, no scales…

Map 1: Side A:
Numbered 1/8" Hex Grid with detailed topographic Map of:
Valon, Ebony Coast, Silver Skein Islands, Isles of the Blessed, Sea of Five Winds.
Details also include many island names, mountain ranges, cities, regions, countries and other places of interest.

Map 1 Side B: Same detailed map without the numbered Hex Grid.
The name places are much easier to read on this one with no Hex Grin.
There is no border along the outside edge of this map, unlike all the other Maps.

Map 2: Side A: Same as Map 1; Side A, though not as detailed.

Map 2: Side B: Numbered 1/8" Hex Grid, other than the Numbered Hex Grid this map is blank.

See the pictures and scans below.

The Wilderlands Map shown on this page (Tarantis Campaign Setting) looks like the same map with the tiny Hex Grid but it is described as being 22" x 34".
The maps I have are smaller at 20" x 29" (From edge to edge)

Scan page for the Wilderlands Map shown on the Tarantis Page.
http://www.acaeum.com/jg/ModPhotos/Tara ... dsMap.html

1) The maps are not the same size, though the maps I have do match the topography in the scan above at the corner shown.
2) I do not have any material from the Tarantis Campaign Setting though, not from that large lot or otherwise.

Scan of the same area from my copy of that map.

Yes, these are maps from the Tarantis set. I checked the maps from one of my copies, and they both measure about 20"x29".

Upon taking a closer look at the Tarantis entry (see Gnat's link above), it does not match the contents of my set. I have a cover sheet, the two books, the two maps that Gnat described (I think the measurements are closer to 20"x28"), and a third, 20"x28" double-sided map with the city state on one side and campaign map four on the other.

The two 17"x22" campaign 4/5 maps from the listing were not included.

Thanks for your response. :D

So it looks like I have a set of the Tarantis Wilderlands Maps.

I suspect that the Players and Judges Maps
"Tarantis/Valon Campaign Map (Players and Judges Copy: 4/5)"
Should also be included in that set.

I have a loose players map from that set also, though not a Judges Map.
Does anyone have the other stuff for the Tarantis City State Campaign and need those Maps?

Or would anyone wish to send the other Tarantis Campaign items to me for a good price (or trade)?

Thanks for posting this Beggar, I myself did not know about the enitre full on Wilderlands Campaign map.  That's useful to know.

Which now leads to this next question for anyone.  How many physical maps (paper maps) is Tarantis suppose to come with?  The listing on the booty list says 4 so should that be the number to confirm when buying Tarantis?

Who says my inspiration was D&D?  That was just a background phenomenon.

Well my notes state mine has 2 of the Wilderland maps, 1 of the City and 1 Campaign map 4/5 (not sure if Judge or Player though is the Yellow version).
Course the site would imply 1 of the Wilderland maps, 1 of the City and 2 Campaign maps 4/5 (1 Judge and 1 Player).  I think we've had this discussion before on who has what in another thread.
