While not a Judges Guild product, I believe I have some newfound inspiration on Google Books ...

http://books.google.com/books?id=9LMaAAAAYAAJ

for various Wilderlands towers, holds and keeps that would add some flavor to the current campaign I am working on.

What's free? It's just a picture? There is no means of opening the book or reading it. I've created an account, added it to my library, and still I just get a picture. Is there meant to be a link or a button to read the thing or is thia just an advert?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . minestrone soup.

Dead link I'm affraid.
Any chance someone could explain this? I've even searched the webpage html and find no links to any documents. And the help system is the usual Google shite with no info at all on how to open or read books.

You can also go to Amazon and buy the 1887 hardcover for like $1000.

Okay. From the link http://books.google.com/books?id=9LMaAAAAYAAJ
what do you press to get to the book? I just get 404 error from the second link, but there must be a way of navigating the first link to the PDF. Can anyone describe how to get to it?

If you can click on one of the 3 pages under 'selected pages' then you should be able to download the whole book.

Ah. There's the problem. You get links to pages. I don't get anything. Just a little piccie of the book's front cover and the description. Where are the three page links? Beneath the photo of the cover?

Try this link or look at my pretty screenshots:

. . . http://books.google.com/books/pdf/The_C ... ry_r&cad=0

The original URL in previous posts displays the first screenshot.  Clicking the "Download PDF" button under the book cover on the left downloads the PDF.  Clicking one of the page links goes to the second screenshot, where the PDF can be downloaded.

Yay! That last link worked, Rakeesh sah Tarna.
So Google doesn't like UK readers to read their books? How fck'd up are they! Us UK readers don't get the little piccies of the pages or the chance to download the PDF.
Luckily the Canadian Library is far more trusting of UK citizens than their cousins over the border.
Maybe it's because it says it's a US copyrighted book?
