A friend of mine has a pristine third Printing First Fantasy Campaign with both maps. He and I were wondering how much they have been selling for recently?

Thanks

If you have a look in the Judges Guild subweb here, you will see that a NM 3rd print is listed at $91.  An individual auction price can swing quite a bit either way, but I can tell you that these numbers are based on reliable data.  That price was noted last July.   Plaag probably would have updated it if there has been a significant change.  An apparently very nice 3rd print ended on ebay Sunday at $66.75:
** expired eBay auction **
, but its price was probably deflated by the seller's discouraging international bids.

I've been trying to get my hands on the 2nd & 3rd print for a while.  They just keep going up in price.  Often for more than 1st print, which baffles me.

All together it's a much tidier presentation than the original 1st printing. No decernable difference between 2nd and 3rd by way of content, but a much neater package all round.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . minestrone soup.

If I cared for having every printing (right now I only have the 2nd), I'd probably pay around $60 - 80 for a 3rd print, if it was complete - they usually miss maps or something.

I picked up the 3d Editiion First Fantasy Campaign on Sunday.  Just got it in the mail today.  It was as described, very nice and clean.  The seller said it is in the original bag it came in (not shrinkwrap), but who knows if that's really the case.

In any event, I'm fairly happy with this one.

Alright for those who have these things, specifically those who have various printings.  This pertains to the maps.

Question: Do you have a FFC Judges Map with a thick border like the Players first (along with map slightly bleeding into the left hand border) http://www.acaeum.com/jg/ModPhotos/Firs ... er1st.html or is it thinner like the Players second http://www.acaeum.com/jg/ModPhotos/Firs ... er2nd.html ?
And what printing of the FFC does your Judges map belong to?

Mine is a 3rd printing with the 2nd print of the Player's Map. I also got it signed by Dave at Gen Con back in '91...

I checked my 2nd print and the maps are like the linked image; both of them.

The other one I have, I have to pull out and compare, so might be a while.

Well yeah, goofed in what I said there..but what I'm wondering overall is the thickness of the border, does the judges map match the 1st print players version or the 2nd print.

I've confirmed what another sent me regarding the 1st print FFC with my own..the Judges map has the thicker boarded and map lines out of the boundary which matches the 1st print players border and map lines (not the black line in the corner though)
While my 2nd and 3rd print FFCs have the Judges Map as I have it currently on the site as well as 2nd print players map.
So if it seems others also share this, since many have confirmed the 1st print players map with their 1st print FFCs, then there is a 'known' (I missed this basically, took another with fresh eyes to ask about it) 1st print Judges map and the one I have becomes the 2nd print.  Also this helps make a 1st print FFC more confirmed if its not just 2 instances of this discovery.

Ah, I see.

3rd Print FFC with the 2nd printing of the Player's map and the Judge's map you have shown on the site, with the thin border like the Player's Map, so with the 2nd printing of the Judge's Map.

My 3rd print FFC also came with the 2nd print Judge's Map.

I only have a first print FFC.  Looks like this question pertains to later prints, so not sure if this helps.

Both the Judge and Player's map have equally wide left margins with the cartography over printed into the shaded border.  Both have the P.O. Box address.  The player's map has the lines on three sides of each corner hex.
