Never had that one either. The only thing that I wanted in 1052 was the judges screen and I picked that up separately.
Still have it somewhere (in heavily used condition!)

Never really got into the JG Traveller items. Had another player in the group back in the day that was a MUCH better Traveller ref than I, so he always ran the Traveller games using his own materials.

Fun games. His Imperial Marines were SCARY... when the Imps came along, you didn't fight, you ran, and if you couldn't run, you hid, and if you couldn't hide... you hoped the evidence all got blowed up with everything else.

Once again not even one of these appeared on eBay for sale in Q3.

I know that there are some sellers of the other JG Traveller packs that frequent these forums.

Are these really that rare? Were the packs all broken up and sold as individual items?

I just picked up a few of the cheap reprints:

Doom of the Singing Star is set on a spaceship which suspiciously resembles a shopping mall. There is narrative justification, it's a luxury liner spaceship with an actual mall onboard. However the symbolism carries over to the greater symbolism of malls = futuristic life, as seen on Logan's Run etc. The entire set of deck plans look like they should be labelled 'Foot Locker,' 'Nordstrom,' & 'You Are Here.' Naturally, there is an arcade on the ship.

Rogue Moon of Spinstorme was more of a shot in the dark -there's a girl with a cute butt on the cover, what more could any gamer need? The scenario itself, after a quick initial skim, is notable primarily for its bleakness. The party investigates an abandoned base on an uninhabited moon, finding at most a few active security droids.  I guess the idea is to re-create the thrill of a weekend spent alone while cramming for an engineering mid-term. Original Traveller could be like that.

Frank, can you post the link to that specific listing?
I clicked on the eBay link that you posted in classifieds and a list of 17 items comes up but the JG Traveller pack is not on it.

That item is on my evaluation list and it will be the first one that I have seen listed in nearly a year!  :D

Leadjunkie,

If it was a private sale through the Acaeum would you mind PM'ing me with the price so I can add it to my spreadsheet?

That is one of the items that I don't yet have any pricing for.

Jason
