The revised CSIO took everything from this: http://www.acaeum.com/jg/Item0012.html and combined it into one large book with maps. Then in 1999 Judges Guild rereleased the Revised CSIO when they seemed like they were coming back (also released Pegasus 14 and were selling items through their website)
Then 2004 Necromancer Games took the CSIO and Wraith of the Overlord books and combined them, gave further descriptions and put it to the d20 ruleset.

The Revised CSIO is easy to obtain and all the I and J maps are a part of the book along with the Thunderhold maps.

So the revised CSIO Brown/Red Cover, and the revised CSIO 1999 white cover are identical except for the cover change? I've never seen the 1999 version except on eBay.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

They seem to be, though I've not done an extensive comparison of all the various Revised CSIO.

Side Note: It was one of the first things I bought back then from the Judges Guild site. Of course I wasn't as into Judges Guild as I am now so I don't know if they were selling the Pegasus #14.

My Red/Brown CSIO has really naff coloured dungeon maps on pages 88 and 89, and a colored in castle map on the back cover. Does the 1999 reprint also have the crap coloring in it?

Aside... You'll have to let us know what that Swampcon stuff is all about. Nice hawl BTW.

Nope, the 1999 RCSIO is all black and white, no color art work or maps.

Fancy taking some photos of the maps and illustrations and posting them. I can't find a shop in the UK that stocks NG stuff, and their website isn't really trying to sell stuff.
