Right.  I thought you were referring to an Easter egg previously published in JG material.  I misunderstood your post.

Shane,

http://www.acaeum.com/jg/Item0104.html

on the bit where you are quoting detail of the 3rd print, you might want to put that the colour cover says.... and the booklet says...

as the way it reads makes it sound like it says universal supplement on the colour cover, which is not the case

Heya Plaag,

Couple things I should mention about Tell Qa:

1) I forgot to put the product code on! D'oh! It should be AGP 00101.

2) There is a "Limited Pre-Production Edition," 21 copies made at Staples, which I printed to give to various folks at the 2007 GAMA Trade Show. I have (I think, the study is a mess now) eight copies left, so that means there are 13 copies out there somewhere (some are going in the mail on Monday, and I'm not counting those among the eight).

The Limited Pre-Production Edition is readily distinguishable from the Free RPG Day edition by looking at the first page. The first page of the FRPGD version ends with the ending of the "Tell Qa Recent History" section, while the LPPE version includes a paragraph and a bit of the second of the Population and Cultures section; that's the difference between professional layout and me printing out what I had on Word. The layout is similarly different throughout, plus there were some editorial changes between GTS and the final print, most notably, the addition of the Rumors Table.

Also, the LPPE version has a photocopy of my hand-drawn Tell Qa map, rather than the professional map by Peter Bradley that was included with the FRPGD version.

3) You should add a "Cartography and Layout: Peter Bradley" entry on the FRPGD version entry. Peter should be doing most of the cartography down the line, but it would make for a more complete record, anyway.

Erm, that's it for now, I think...
