I have a set of wilderlands map sheets, mint in shrinkwrap, a 1st print Ready Reference sheets and a 1st print 1st edition CSIO, both in near mint condition (the latter has all the flyers that shipped in the shrink).

I've not seen the firt two come up on eBay, and I haven't seen a complete true 1st CSIO in mint condition on eBay in about a year.

Can any of the JG fanatics put a value to these?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

well the first two should fetch a nice sum cos you would get the majority of JG collectors falling over themselves to get them :)

i would pay maybe £20-£25 for the first two, but that might vary depending on who else was interested of course.

As you have found in the past ian, sometimes you think something will have great value and then its a bit of a "wet lettuce" when it sells....but then the things you least expect to do well, actually outdo themselves.

the CSIO tho, if its complete, i think you would get a stirling return on that. i wouldnt have a problem with £35-40+ for that.

damn nice items chummer!

Al

ps. then saying that, its going to be an exceptionally rare time you will see 30 year old items come around in shrink like that either, so you might find the demand may well return a premium higher that that which we could guess a value at.
CSIO's always sell, but i have seen them go for small amounts too. but with them being 1st prints, thats what will appeal to the collectors, but would it necessarily appeal to the general market?

Are we nearly there yet?

Map Sheets: eh..maybe $20
The Ready Ref Sheets would do well at $40-50
CSIO no way would this go low..$75+

well now that Ian's two items settled on BIN's, i think we are starting to see some shape for the high-end rare JG items?

His JG12 CSIO 1st print: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 8713951219

this sold for £70.00.

His JG27 Tegel Manor 1st print: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 8713949500

this sold for £40.00.

now these were both 1st prints and NM condition, so surely this is now setting the level for the high-end of the values? lets be honest...items of this quality dont come round often, not 30 years on....and most what we all have, is of lower quality, so the value lessens some....

what do y'all think?

notice also, i bought his:

JG14 - ready ref sheets 1st print: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 8711763146 at £20.00

JG46 - Wilderlands hex sheets 1st print: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 8711762102 at £25.00

these items are both mint and shrinkwrapped and damn nice let me tell you and they wont be going anywhere in many months of sundays! i think the prices were fair and didnt have a problem paying that at all. i also think thats about as high-end as it gets too.

so do you think we may have four possible values there to set on the 1st prints?

Al

I can agree with you on the first three that they maybe at the upper range for those particular items. The last one I don't feel confident that it could reach that value in the open market.
