Yikes  8O.  Now I remember why I have never purchased anything from this seller.

Yeah she seems to post items in her store near in price to other items that are up for auction and doing well.

Most of her prices are very reasonable, I just bought 9 Decipher LOTR roleplaying books/boxsets from her for $61.95.  What a kick ass deal.  Thanks for the post King. :D

Interesting price during a downturn in the Ebay RPG market.

So it is really worth that much. Hmmm. I have collected JG for a while, but my collection remains small at 54 pieces. But to be honest, I didn't think any of the JG items were worth that much. Is there a plan to eventually add  $ values and rarity grades to the JG subweb?

Some are consistant, Tegel Manor, some seem to be collectors only, Tac Cards, and some of the common stuff can be made a bit more valuable if complete, with coversheets or as an installment with envelope.

And as Al has said, he's working on a list in his spare time. When the time comes, I'll also be asking for help tracking Judges Guild prices, but thats down the road.

and as most here know, bar for about a dozen or so items, most JG items are common, easy to obtain and very cheaply too.

you will get the odd one where everyone here will go gung-ho on, because they are extremely rare.

it shouldnt be too long before i have a sorta prelim list of rare/uncommon/common for us to play with. values will come later as i only track them when i can.

I would pay that much for a first print in that condition, too. I really was just trying to make note of the price and stuck it in this thread. It is nice to see some JG stuff get some respect.

I just came across one with a bin for $125, but I did not copy the link.

That seller is a jackass.  he is the one who had the halfway decent OCE set in his store for well over a year sitting at $300.    I guess since you asked the question he was figuring that you were planning on buying it so he figured he try to f**king screw your eyeballs out on it.  I would ever buy anything form that guy ever again based on that principle alone. As a matter of fact he/she should be religated to the "Shady Dealers" thread.

When I see prices like that, I feel I should stop wasting time scanning ebay, and stick to touring local second hand book stores and junk shops!

$135 for a dark tower is just ridiculous. $60 tops is just about right for a damn nice first, and thats tops. it should normally be $40-50. though there are times you see it cheaper when there is a lull.

if youre not bothered about condition, you can get em a lot cheaper, but if youre gonna hang out for a nice one, its well worth it as its a great collectable.
