$102.50? After their limit was $13.50 on http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8806948324 ?
Looks like the bug has caught...

Go on; someone invite them over here. :)

Judges Guild Maps: Role Playing Games | eBay

:o

   Um...

Tegel:  $25

Wraith Overlord:  $15  (not all maps present)

City State of the Invincible Overlord
:  $30

City State of the World Emperor:  $20 (Map #6 and one other present)

Greyhawk Map:  $5

Thieves Fortress of Bread-a-basketor (Sp?): $5

Ready Reference Sheets
:  $3

Verbosh:  $3 (and worth more than that in my opinion)

Of Skulls and Scrapfaggot Green (terrible name):  $3

Beneath the Storm Giant's Castle:  $3

The Unknown Gods:  $2

TOTAL:  $114

And that total is with everything slightly undervalued and not including the SHIPPING COSTS that would wrack up if you bought each separately.

This is actually a really good purchase and someone ought to grab it.

If this was not a lot of duplicates for me, I might consider it.  Certainly, I've made worse deals.  I can't really see why it's still available, in fact.

Perhaps because the BIN was $1,000?

Glad you're feeling flush for cash... :)

They must have changed the auction before I saw it.  A starting bid of $75 is will within the ballpark on this one.

If I had seen the $1000 BIN I could have joined in the laughter.   8O

I can only suspect that the bidders were after the odd cover.

Is that an early edition?

It looks a lot like the public domain art that Judges Guild resorted to after things started to go down the crapper...or that started things down the crapper.

That is one facet of Judges Guild that I detest....clip art.

Wilderlands of High Fantasy

Sadly I only have a spare of the 2nd book, or I would be talking to the underbidder.

Wouldn't think so...

*points to the second half of the post above*

The difference? A single small stain at the foot of the front cover?? Surely not...
(and it's otherwise mintier than our "reference copy")

Strange.

Hardly an "exceptionally high" price for that.

Just a new collector bidding on those other two auctions where there was already a (somewhat crazy) bidding war. Thin market, still, and not sustainable at those higher levels IMHO unless there's a major paradigm shift.

i agree, you get these spikes all the time but generally the $ levels paid are lower and have stayed steady for quite some time. these ppl tend to be ones who are not patient or dont even look around to see if there is anything better.

** expired/removed eBay auction **

really crap looking book there for that price imo. marl's one that he just won was a lot better and much better value for money (think its worth more imo but the quality just aint there) and of course he mentions the maps but no pics of em either.

But, the listing has this magical line:

"Maps are intact and unmarked."

Yikes  8O.  Now I remember why I have never purchased anything from this seller.
