Did anyone post or talk about this auction. The Seller used the wrong list and said he had a unique copy of Thieves of Fortress Badabaskor. Check it out:

Not sure if it was posted, but I did contact the seller.  It was not unique, though still a 1st print.

I bought it: seemed like a first print from the description and pics

I do not expect anything unusual at all with this one.

Well this one gets more and more interesting:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

This from Bill Owen after I asked him: "Yes, this sticker indicates that the product was bagged (open-ended heavy-poly bag, heat sealed on end at Bob's house by his wife) before the approval for use with D&D was awarded to us by TSR.

So as soon as the royalty agreement was signed I had (3000? I can't remember for sure) white print on red background stickers made up quickly at Wood or Abbott & Foran Printing from Avery Labels i.e. 33-up on a page but the ‘gripper' on offset printing caused waste of 1 row of labels.

So we stuck those on all the products that were already printed/packaged and then as a new product came out or reprinting of an old product, we'd incorporate similar art instead."

So should have some images and this info as an update this weekend - but in the process of asking more ?'s

Yeah!  Bill has put up some interesting items this week.  I'm sure the snipers will be out in force at the conclusion of the auctions.

Thanks

Snipers are people who put bids in in the closing seconds of an auction.
