I'm checking it out.

Cougie also has a couple of CSWE items. i've stuck in some bids to check them out.

Dave has a lot of JG items coming up. If any US bidders are reticent to bid I'll provide a shipping address and/or bid on their behalf.

I know it seems very unpopular on this site to say so but I have never had any problems of any kind with cougar (except when I forgot to pay   and he was very obliging).

Catalog | The Dragon's Trove

OK...posted this by accident over on Plaag's need scans list.

Here it is again...not on Ebay, but it is Dark Tower from Dragon's Trove for $30.

A huge set of campaign maps and the hex overlay Judges Guild was using for its printing!  8O  I'd bid on these if the shipping to Hungary wasn't a killer, and I was into collecting memorabilia.

Wow! That would be Bill Owen, the co-founder of Judges Guild. That original hex overlay is real tempting...

Awww, shucks Al, that is a really nice thing to say.  And as to London, don't worry - I reckon if I put a good word in for you, they would let you back into the city..

Doesn't 88 pages make this a first print First Fantasy Campaign?

A pretty good edition of Tegel.  I haven't seen the colored map before.

I don't see the Dark Tower auction by red_bus.

Is it possible that it is listed UK only?

Not a first (lacking the big $7.98 above the bottom line) - maybe a 3rd?  Shane?

With the date of 1980 its the 3rd..all printings have a cover that states 88 pages (which is wrong for all of them)

First Fantasy Campaign

This is a 4th print with the players map pulled out of the center of the book.

Do they usually have the map still stapled inside?

It is Bill.  I e-mailed him to confirm it.

The overlay map is a one of kind for collecting interest.

The collection of maps is interesting as well, if for no other reason than the provenience.

Let the bidding commence.

It would be nice to see the hex overlay go to an Acaeum guy...just to keep track of what is obviously a gaming artifact of some interest.

I figure both lots will go for way past my limit.
