It was a long time ago when I bought my Dark Tower, which is one of those "off-cut" ones, but I do not remember it coming in S/W. Does anyone know if this would be an original S/W or possibly an after-market wrapping?

cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem& ... SS:US:1123

Thanks,

"Okay, we turn the corner and see a Purple 'WHAT' !?!" . . (the DM rolls a 20 or so he says) . . It all went black right after that.

Tegel Manor, which appears to be a 1st printing, based on Q&A:

cgi.ebay.com/Judges-Guild-Original-TEGE ... dZViewItem

Based on advertised condition, what do you guys think this is worth?

Thanks,

1st printing (ie orange booklet) but not a 'true' first-note seller says no text'ende' above skull on rear cover
...and the colour isnt dark enough

EDIT Actually on reflection I think this is a 2nd printing

An Acaeum member put these in the classified section:

I thought that Judges Guild people ought to have a special heads up.

Please ask this seller about any of the items that he is selling. I purchased two lots from him, one of which was Very Fine condition and the other was Very Used, even though he listed them as Near Mint  . Most of the modules were either stained, written in, or both. Please ask the right questions before buying.

Just an FYI,

Sorry for not getting back sooner, but I did not realize that there was a question until now. It is a third (3rd) printing according to the sub-web, as it lists More Fine Products and goes up to #350, but also lists Runequest items and Dungeoneerback issues.

It appears as though it was cut (final process) at an od angle, with the cut sloping upwards from the spine to the upper right and sloping inwards from the spine to the bottom right. This applies all the way through the book, which makes this version of the Dark Tower appear to be the "leaning Dark Tower of Piza"

Does  anyone else have or seen one of these odd cuttings?

Thanks,

Hi Shane,

I will make a photo later this evening, as a scan may not show the odd shaped cut as well. The wife has the digital camera right not, so I will get one done either tonight or tomorrow morning. Thanks for your input.

Best Regards,

Early Tegel Manor for the avid Judges Guild afficionados. Down Under is unearthing some interesting items lately - stay tuned.

The Fringe Dweller lets the platinum pieces fall from his grasp as he eyes the comely wench in the corner of the tavern.

This appears to be a 3rd print that is missing the coloured fly-leaf. Do people agree?
