That's the 4th print, the color cover is a part of the book.

see just proves my point. ppl see one do well so they come out of the woodwork then trying to jump onto the bandwagon.

the booklet looks lighter than the dark 1st though, so ppl take note of that with poss reckonings of values you wanna pay. i still think its worth a decent stab as its a nice looking book bar for the little pencilling mentioned. though i wouldnt plough in there heavily due to that, as a better one will come along, but hey, to each their own :)

A pox on all you Judges Guild afficionados.  I just want a Tegel as a memento of the game we played at Gen Con but with all the hubbub recently I don't see myself getting one for a decent price anytime soon since apparently there are a couple of you feckers (nice word Al...thanks) out there that will pay an ungodly amount for these damn things.  Al...instead of Tegel Manor why the hell didn't you choose Thieves of Fortress Badabaskor or something equally inexpensive so it would push the price up for that?

No...I think I will just hope that there is another one at the Gen Con auction next year and I just won't sit next to Al so he can pull my arm down and tell me that it isn't worth that much.  And since I will have a shitload of cash available I can throw up a ridiculous bid if I need to.

OK...I will stop whining now.  :P

This is looking like a good buy to me; A playable copy of the Rules Cyclopedia, Wrath of the Immortals to go with, a playable copy of Demonweb Pits, an original cover DMG (I only have the orange spine), two of what I surmise to be pretty seminal JG modules, and a handful of duplicates that I can trade for store credit at the FLGS.  Nothing looks like it's collector quality, but I'm more of a player/GM, anyway.

Damn it - the high bidder is the GM in my play-by-post game.     Nothing spells "early PC death" like sniping your GM on an eBay lot.

Snipe him and then offer him one of the books whenever your character needs experience. ;)
