The high school teacher that was my first DM used to sell us home made character sheets. $.10 each or $.05 if we would buy the ones his dog had gotten territorial on........

And who says all role playing memories are good ones

No. But in his defense we had some real frugal people in our group and I assume the offers were made partly in response to someone trying to barter something down from a dime. I do remember Ken my friend actually buying some at that price though. When your in high school and dont have a job I guess maybe all the dimes mattered.

Could be a 1st, but is probably a 3rd without the flysheet.

I believe 3rd has an entirely different cover.  A warrior sitting on a rock with a castle in the background.

IIRC the new art is on a flysheet only, and if you discard the flysheet you're left with 1st edition booklet and maps. I don't have my 3rd edition any more, but someone here should be able to confirm.

dark tower:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :B:SS:UK:1

dungeoneer value pack:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :B:SS:UK:1

(i have some of these too, but quite heavy, so no use to US peeps really)

the seller also has tons of other stuff up too, as well as more than 1 of the above.

wondrous relics is the one i had loads of at one point, well maybe not loads, more like 5+

i have never had wondrous weapons. i think that was one of them latter ones, where we thought originally that it never got released, until a few showed up on ebay.

there was discussion somewhere here about them a while ago.
