Might've saved himself a lot of bother by listing conditions/completeness on the "obvious suspects" but hey... Having a quick scan through and presuming OKish/complete on those and allowing $1 each (!) for the rest it's easy enough to tote up something in the region of $750 as a guideline, with the bonus of cheap domestic shipping.

I think your number is close.

But I agree with Plaag that it will probably sell for $500 Plus (Most probably) or minus (unlikely), but I think it is easily worth over $800 to a collector as a very good start to a JG collection and as a re-sale lot more like $700.

If this lot goes for what I think it will either type of buyer is going to be VERY happy.

Still... a First Fantasy Campaign book (with maps) for $99.00?

Seriously...

Maybe he mistyped his decimal... $9.90 :)

Do you recognize the ebay name, if it's someone here on the site?

Yes, many of the rare and uncommon items most sought after by Judges Guild Junkies like myself.
Whoever wins that lot will get it for a VERY low price and will have a VERY nice start to a Judges Guild Fantasy collection all in one lot, plus a few of the Traveller items as well and a nice start on the magazines as well.

I suspect that lot will go for far less than it should.

For one thing, I wont be bidding on it.

Catherine the Great?

Hi guys, I had wanted to start up a JG collection a while back ago...figured this would be a great way to start. So I had the winning bid...at $660 not sure if I overpaid, but I felt was in the right ballpark.

I am a collector not a re-seller, so, I will probably sell off the multiple items in the lot.

Do not think you overpaid at all.
In fact the final bid was very close to my estimate and that is near the amount that I would have been willing to bid.

It is a very nice start. 8)

damn you just beat me to that one :)

cheap enough to try and grab the inferno as well - well worth a watch.

the big lot that sold for $660, i think is still a pretty decent price to get so much in one swoop. if you figure out each item and what the shipping would have been getting things in 1s and 2s (the usual way), then the price is actually not bad at all.

ps, lots of other interesting things too, but not cheap, but might be worth it from a multiple purchase perspective to save on shipping?

Apparently, the Character Codex came with color sheet as a cover?

The city state is damaged. Not sure if this is a good price, but at $111 it seems to be reasonable, depends on the current value of the wilderlands sets.

There are no pictures of ANY of the items being sold...
Even the picture posted of the City State is NOT what the seller is selling.
That is a picture of a Original City State Set (The cover sheet to be exact).

CSIO Cover Sheet

I suspect the seller got the picture from the Acaeum actually, or some other web source.

Note the price of $9.00 on the cover sheet pictured and the lack of the words REVISED EDITION at the top of the only picture provided?
The Revised books have a price of $8.00 and of course the words REVISED EDITION at the top.

Revised CSIO 1st

A few days ago. I asked the seller for a detailed description of the contents of this listing including what is included with the City State Set, and was told the price on the cover of his City State Book is $8.00  (Seller told me that he has No cover sheet).
And the seller also added a note to the listing itself which confirms this too.
The new note lists the maps that he has, and from this list is missing half of a complete set for the REVISED EDITION of the CSIO....

Still if the other stuff is complete and in good condition, then the price of $132.50 for now (3 hours left) is still reasonable.

This listing Could be just fine, seller has 100% feedback too...

It looks worth the risk.  Fair price if the sets are complete.

Shouldn't there be some smaller maps, in yellow or blue, detailing a dungeon somewhere right near the city?

Nope, unless it is an original City State Playing Aid that is.
Which this aint...

There were TWO sets of Dungeon Maps in the Original City State Playing Aid.

I 1-5 are maps of the dungeons beneath the City State.

http://www.acaeum.com/jg/Item0008.html

J 1-4 are maps of the dungeons beneath Thunderhold.

http://www.acaeum.com/jg/Item0017.html

All Revised Edition Sets have those Dungeon maps inside the 80 page book.
However, Dungeon Map I 5 is not in the Revised Edition books, it is instead on the reverse side of the Players Thunderhold Map in the Revised Edition Sets.
(8-1/2" x 11" sheet)
