Glad so many folks had their eyes drawn away from Inferno and to the JG lot that sold for over $400...

SWEET!
I had been trying to fill this void for YEARS!
Finally success, and at a very cheap price too (I think). 8)

Seems to be little evidence that products are complete, and the price seems to be close to what should be paid for the lot if everything were complete. Also condition would seem very suspect. Maybe someone is gonna feel a bit let down when their package arrives.

There are quite a few items in the list that arent pictured (Dark Tower, Thracia, Wilderlands books) but even with all that I would never think of putting a bid in a bid that high.  And you are most likely correct about condition.  If it isnt pictured, odds are its in less than desireable shape.

cgi.ebay.com/City-State-of-the-World-Em ... 3efce99d94

Our friendly Toad has posted an auction with a picture of the City States Map Book 6 from a Judges Guild CSofIO set.

So that the listing description (at first glance) might make you THINK you will be bidding on a Box Set of the original City State Set?

Which I do not think even ever existed, or if so, its a new one for me.

Yet further down you read that the item is indeed a Box Set.....
I suspect it is the Box Set that came (*EDIT! From Mayfair) for 2nd Edition AD&D!

It's just a screwed up listing.

I believe the person posting it just picked up some standard blah blah and did not know the difference between the Mayfair boxed set and the original Judges Guild.  Nor, does he seem to understand the difference between City State of the Invicible Overlord and City State of the World Emperor.

Ok, this isn't really on ebay as I bought it direct from killjoy, but Druids of Doom is a very interesting read and I've really enjoyed looking through it! Not only is it good, but a lot of info and very well written.

Are there any obvious follow ups/similar styled mods/mods written by the same writers that anyone knows of?

I wrote to seller early on.
Includes the books only, with NO MAPS.
NONE.

Fantastic Wilderlands Beyonde SHOULD include Four Maps (7/8 and 9/10)
Wilderlands of the Fantastic Reaches SHOULD include Four Maps (15/16 and 17/18.)

Searching for those eight maps would be a bit daunting.
Easier to find a complete set (IMO).

Yes, bummer indeed.
The maps can be found, but many of the Wilderlands Maps are not easy and a complete set (Judges and Players copies) is really tough.

All that said, I had already placed a small bid on the lot.
One of the books looks a little nicer than my copy... (Beyonde)
And even though it is pretty common, I do not have a decent copy of The Unknown Gods either.

GRRRRRR........  DANGIT!

I have been looking for copies of all four of them.

Warning!
I will bid aggressively…
So if you want them you will have to punch the button hard.

Yeah, I'm looking for some of these myself. That last batch I needed the Verbosh but the bidding went to high.

Sweet! There's going to be an old-fashioned rumble over some shrink! This is going to be like West Side Story, except some of us are going to bring pole-arms and glave-guisarmes instead of butterfly knives!!! PDT_Armataz_01_36  PDT_Armataz_01_35  PDT_Armataz_01_12

And to further the analogy...I'm not going to play the part of the love interest !

Shrink Wrap is not an issue for me.
I would actually rather have un-SWed copies in NM Condition (if complete).
So if someone has those things opened complete and NM, and wants the ones listed in SW... then we can make a side deal.

How about a Nuke?
I just listed an expensive collectable. (See classified ad)
Assuming it sells, I think I will be able to outlast most folks.
Even Jason...
