Hello good people. Mirroring the other parts of this forum, I'm opening up this thread with this...

http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... %3AIT&rd=1

The shipping's and all's a little steep, but getting all 15 for about 1.2 dollars apiece doesn't seem a bad deal. And telling Shane that once they do make it to my scanner, they'll be scanned and sent.

*g*. Well spotted, Franz.

Was tempted at that price, too, despite only needing a couple of the books. (And not as OTT as some of their other compound shipping charges, btw).

Decided to stick with a "few" spare "K"s at $1.99 each. :)

(Was BIN so I didn't hang around to debate shipping: however, after dropping a note, they refunded half the charge. No complaints, there! :D)

*g*. Don't worry: was thinking of you, Al! ;)

Will send a few over for spares- and at that price they're cheap enough for "freebies".

Between that, Franz's lot, and the others Titan still has up, I guess they don't rate JG particularly highly and/or are unaware of what is usually available "cheap" vs. what isn't. With the exception of the first journal.

(Seven "K"s is certainly somewhat unusual, IMHO).

Another recent one was the original "War Cry and Battle Lust" (JG68) for $4 BIN;

(Unfortunately only one copy of that... :().

The fact is that there isn't still an Acaeum price list for JG items... once it's up, the good 'ole hunt for the lovely items' over.  :)

Until then, let's rake them up

BTW, Al, still no Blackmoor tho...     ... and David - if u still need that white box...

Nice finds.
Course it gets harder to find the rare stuff or some of the various printings. Like that War Cry  :(

Oh, and the site is coming along...slowly. Course without having that many photos I've got the 'need scan' image pasting down...( :P That is a hint if ever there could be one     )

thanks for that David, very much appreciated. I have a War Cry or two lying around. I will send one over and a few other bits if you like?

Look forward to receiving them.

Btw: i picked up a REALLY nice City State of the World Emperor, with Map 6 (both judges and players maps) and the City map, for £10 and that was postage inclusive and paypal fees etc....it was minty too - absolute bloody bargain - VERY pleased let me tell you!

I'm working on getting 2 fantastic wilderlands beyonde for $19.98 too :D

I won some other amazing items too, which i will put up once they arrive.

Well, my 15 JG items came the last week through my door.
Nicely packed and in very good condition... and the good thing is that it has been packed by Tonya herself!!!

:D :D :D

I'm warming up my scanner, and will send the lot to Plaag asap. Expect something soon, dude.

I trust she gave you a discount on shipping. Presumably she didn't need to pay the guy that does her packing for her?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Got them, only question is on the Ready Ref book..what does the booty list # go up to? And does the first page numbered 1/last numbered 56?

Thanks,

The Ready Ref Sheets is item #14, copyright JG 1978, 56 pages.

The last numbered page is #53, and the Booty List is called "More Fine Products from JG" divided in subheadings (approved for AD&D, approved with D&D, etc) and it goes from JG 2 to JG 350 (Darthanmon Queen) as the highest number

Was that not the 2nd and 3rd printings (purple book)? And were they not printed in 1980? My JG 14's are packs of loose pages printed 1978, and there's only 20 or so sheets in each pack.

In the cover it displays "Second Edition - Revised, enlarged and in booklet format"
In the foreword (page 1) it says that the booklet contains material from issues 1-6 of the Guildmember, plus material found in Campaign Hex Booklet. Some pages which could be used as ref sheets were placed in the center of the booklet "where one can pry up the staples to remove those pages".
The booklet is, in fact, saddle stitched.

Hum...then there are 3 printings of the Second edition
What I have written down for mine (one has a list that goes to 710, another has pictures of the various books up to 53) I'll have to double check them again.

Course now has me ask the question: What version do others have?
