Forgot to check on this when the debate for #14 was going on. This is from White Dwarf #3 (First review for JG items in this magazine, which is also mentioned in Journal O)

The whole line that these charts are on relatively flimsy paper seems to have me question either the review or the package..

Ian was this SWed when you had this?

IIRC, the two JG14 Ready Refs I had weren't shrinkwrapped. I believe they were originally supplied in a brown mailing envelope.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I thought Shane meant this one; http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8711763146 ?
"This is a brand new set of Judges Guild JG14 Ready Ref Sheets, in near mint condition (they have been removed from their shrinkwrap)."

yeah that would be useful - prb a lot easier to pick up on what prints things are, rather than relying solely on pictures etc.

Alan...how are you ever going to bring yourself to sell off your Tegels and Dark Towers?

well you know what....

i am sat here with five tegels staring at me not 2 feet away. they have been sat there for about 6 weeks, where i have been "getting ready to list/sell them" and you know what...i just dont want to. i am picking everything else around them bar them :)

the dark towers i aint so fussed about. good mod - read a few times now and well they were never one of my faves, tho i do like em.

am sure i will sell them all eventually - the ones i WANT to sell anyway. some i will keep (ie the top notch ones).

ho hum :)

I really wanted that Tegel (you took to long on deciding to sell any of yours..so.. ) and well I wanted the CC and cover sheet as well.

I may purchase a dark tower or two if you sell any.

Hi Al,

I kinda felt the same way - I really liked playing in Tegel way back when. When I described it to my wife, she said that she was going to kick my ass for letting it go

shane

as its new year, was just starting to list some items again (will finish them tomorrow)....i got up to the traveller logbook

Traveller Log Book

have started to list my items in line with the prints you have on the subweb, and this one got me confused.

when i look in the book itself, it says, reprinted 1st edition 4th printing 1981......

what do you make of that?

Al

What is the list at the back? (I actually need to update that page - the 1st and 2nd should be bumped to 2nd and 3rd)
The lists I have on those are Treasure Vault 220, and More Fine Products 600 (list goes to 460, but it includes the initial Pegasus in the magazine section on that list)

just checked the back and it has a TREASURE VAULT and the highest # on it is 460 The Book of Ruins. I think this is the last print of the traveller logbook. there are definately some before it but i have never had me hands on any of them.

i also checked back to the old JG pages:

JG78-Log Book

this one i suspect has the 3rd/4th print book as their 1st and the 1st/2nd print book as the 2nd. this is purely speculative as i have never seen one of the others.

checked the other page too, didnt give any prints n stuff, but it DID have a different scan to what mine looks like:

http://members.tripod.com/MBoone/jg0078.jpg

that one ties in with what you have as the 1st print and the one i have ties in with what you have as the 2nd print.

but going back to the 1st link i put up above, it has two scans and this is a large of of the 2nd scan:

JG0078-Log Book 2 (large)

thats the one i have never seen and you havent got it on your site either.

so somewhere, we are missing 2 prints, as mine is the 4th print. one of them is the one above, so the other could possibly be the same cover, but a different vault/booty at the back.

will keep my eyes peeled.

just had a look around on ebay - there are 6 or 7 listed, but looks as though they all have the same covers as mine.

badmike has one listed, but doesnt have a pic with it. can he chime in and just confirm what the cover looks like?
