*thinks*
If you're sticking to copyright dates throughout that would be best, but needs to be made clear, IMO.
For TSR-released material, The Acaeum varies between copyright and (presumed) printing/publication/release dates in several cases. Can be rather confusing, that...

Would be (1977?), otherwise, for the "2nd"?
[edit: No, that's still (1977) even if going by the publication/release date, given my comment re. the "First Fantasy Campaign" Booty list, below. *makes note to self to think*].

At least JG seem to have been better than TSR or Wee Warriors, what with their dates only going in one direction rather than backwards or sideways in time, so to speak...!

aside: As of the 1st "First Fantasy Campaign", booklet "L" was available with the Character Reference sheet (= #25). (= Orange Tegel?)
Was there any earlier point at which the orange-red version was for sale, itself?
(Could reflect such matters in the printing history, or general "cover note" as to how the various installment releases were handled vs. the "components" available at a later date- either en-masse or in smaller "groups", per the Booty lists).

just a thought. would it not be worthwhile opening up threads to do with each items printings?

ie CSIO, tegel manor, FFC, modron etc

tegel already had one here Tegel Manor printings

you could then move some of the discussions on here to the related topics to keep everything focussed and easier to follow?

Glad I could help out Shane. :)  I took a quick look at what you still need as far as scans/pics and I think that I can help you out as well with the Gencon IX 3rd printing as well.  I have one that has a black and white cover page and it indicates it is Judges Guild on it.  Let me know if that is the one you need and I will forward you another picture.

Well split the Modron related messages into a new thread.

Anyone know how to move selected messages from one thread to another? (since splitting creates a new thread and some topics already have threads started)

Has anyone any idea of how difficult the Dungeoneer Compendion 1-6 or early Dungeoneers are to get a hold of? Alan, are you sitting on a box full?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Dungeoneer Compendion 1-6 is pretty easy to get, any Dungeoneer single issue from 1-7 I've not seen sold that I recall (Ebay or elsewhere).

None since earlier this year, perhaps, but there were a few at around the $15-25 mark two years ago; and higher ($50+) for those copies Tadashi sold at the end of last year (provenance, condition, mailing labels and a well-watched series of other auctions).

hey bud

i have some compendium 1-6's, but none of the original dungeoneers - would very much like some of them myself...

if you want one:

Dungeons & Dragons (TSR, D&D, AD&D), Judges Guild, White Wolf, etc. for Collectors and Players

I am not all up on JG stuff like you guys are, but I saw this auction this morning before I came to work and I was thinking the same thing. :? Hey but looking at the picture it seems anyone can make a pre-Judges Guild module, you just need to cut out or white all the JG stamps and markings.

Yeah it was me..

The cover is easily doctored..he should have never had a supersized photo. I compared it with my copy, he clearly has taken boxes from the border/other areas on the cover and imposed them over the item number and some text. (Not to good a job seeing as he's squared some areas that are not). Also if he was smart   he would have not put the last page up on the auction as its picture is (c) 1979 when clearly GenCon X was 1977

It is however a 2nd Printing (1979): A barbarian in town square cover and missing maps as stated in Journal W. (Or 1st printing released by Judges Guild) so I know soem here may need that printing.

I've asked for a photo of the first page..shall see what I get. (and see how web savy this guy is).
