Heh, I wasn't rubbing it in. I just figured I'd mention it in case you or anyone needs info.

I have a copy of a Dungeoneer 17 that has a small mailing envelope (used for ordering JG and old TSR items) attached to first page. I don't seem to have this in any others nor the other Dungeoneer 17 (though they all came from the Value Packs). So was this what came with the magazine that was sent in envelopes? (As I also have a red graphic JG envelope)

I have this information while I've been compiling:
Magazines and the Journal supplements where sent out in different envelopes of the years. The dates for each below were calculated with the year the item was printed.
1: 1978: Journal Installment Q (#8), Journal Installment R (#9)
2: 1978, 1979: Journal Installment V (#13), Journal Installment W (#14), Journal Installment T (#11)
3: 1979: November 1979 Catalog
4: 1979: Journal Installment #17
5: 1980: Journal Installment #19
6: 1980: Dungeoneer #17, Journal Installment #21, Journal Installment#22

(If anyone has photos of envelopes it would be helpful, as I'd like to also know how many different ones there are and what dates they were used.)

Zocchi Distributors reprinted a handful of Judges Guild modules. These reprints are nothing but photocopies of the original books.
Anyone have one of these? Or seen one?

Where were these given numbers, i.e. what publication? Or names for that matter (other then Supra Sentinels or Wilderlands CD-ROM, I haven't seen an ad or listing for the others)
1220?             Supra Sentinels (never released) Has ad in Pegasus 12.
1230??            Book of Amulets and Talismans (never released)
1230?             Beyond Enchanted Lands (never released)
1240?             High Adventure (never released)
1250?             Shadow of Black Mountain (never released)
1260?       Pegasus 13 (never released)
1500?       Wilderlands CD-ROM UFS (never released)

Item #1
34"x44" City State Map (4 sections)

1st print run was 1976 GenCon rolled up and sold from the trunk of BillO's Mustang

? print run 1976 with City State..Play Aid

print run 1978, with maps copyright 1976 when it was sold as item #1 with cover sheet. (Booty List on back confirms the 1978 year)

last print run they were included (copied) with 1999-62 on one big sheet

So, questions are thus: How many print runs of these maps were made? (was the second a much larger run that got sold throughout the years?), were they sold as #1 seperately before 1978? Were they given in the basic subscription as item #1? (Cover sheet or such to identify)

Thanks (and keep those photos/scans coming),
ShaneG.

Does anyone else have a cover sheet for City State of the World Emperor Playing Aid that is devoid of any text (and actually any black ink as I have one with no dark windows on the buildings, nor the words 'Of The' in the title)? (its got the booty list on the back and is from 1981)

Thanks,
ShaneG.

#1055 Journal Value Pack says it contains Journals I,J,K,M,O,P,Q,R,S,T,12-21 and Dungeoneer Journal 25

Dungeoneer Value Pack (No # given) contains the Dungeoneer Compendium, Dungeoneer issues 10-18 and 3 Dungeoneer Journal

The JG codex site has Journal Pack with Dungeoneer #19/Judges Guild Journal #22 instead of Dungeoneer Journal 25 and Dungeoneer Pack listing the 3 Dungeoneer Journal issues being 23-25.

Now, what I recall when I opened these few years back is that the Journal pack contained all the Journals up to the 22/19 Dungeoneer..and the Dungeoneer pack being as the JG codex has it.
Adding the seperate values as I have it for the Journal Pack gets me $32.35 ($0.20 less then price sheet-course that is adding Journals I/J/K when they were 0.25 listed as item #21). Adding for Dungeoneer pack gets me $35.05 as it also states on the price sheet.

Am I right about the Journal value pack actually containing all the Journals to 22, because I am fairly certain mine did. I do recall getting confused by the L/N oddity, just not sure about the Dungeoneer #19/Judges Guild Journal #22.

Now you don't have to open the pack if you have one in SW  :) , just if anyone else recalls having opened one if they could confirm if I am right or not.

Side Note: I think I want just the price sheets for the value packs as the photos, if anyone can get me those I would be greatful.

I owned a few of these several years ago.  I remember them being of absolutely awful quality, and got rid of them. I don't remember the titles but they were what I considered "common" items.  I believe Tower of Ulisson, Under Cloud Giants Castle and Dragons Crown were three of the titles.

On other news:

Buy Game card and board role LudikBazar

Site has two JG catalogs though they were added in 2004.[/quote]

Strangely, while I lack a number of JG publications, I do have a copy of this JG catalog.   8)

Well one more research question (Missed them I'm sure :D )
This one involves item 62: Revised City State of the Invincible Overlord Playing Aid. First the info I have from my own and other places....

1st Printing: (1978) Cover has brown/grayish background with red lettering that comes with a JG item list that lists no releases after Village Book I.

2nd Printing: (1979?) Cover has a gray background with red lettering. ‘Created and Approved for use with Dungeons & Dragons' and ‘Official Judges Guild Fantasy Game Aid' on the cover along with a large ‘$8.00' centered at the bottom of the cover.

3rd Printing: (1980) Cover has gray background with red lettering. ‘Official Playing Aid Approved for Dungeons & Dragons' on the cover. 80 pages and doesn't count cover as page 1. Item number and price in small box at bottom left corner.

4th Printing: (1981) Cover has red background with white lettering. ‘Official Playing Aid Approved for Dungeons & Dragons' on the cover. 96 pages with small item number and price at bottom left corner. 6th edition is stated on the first page.

Now I am wondering more along the lines of the 1st/2nd print (I have a photo of what I've dubbed the 2nd but not to sure it is really the 2nd). First is the information correct as listed? And for those that have any of the 1st or 2nd prints what is the highest number for the Booty List/Treasure Vault? Copyright Date? Pages in the book? What does the cover state regarding price/approved for../etc? (well actually photos/scans would be better :) )

Thanks, and I think that is all for now, oh yeah..SEND PHOTOS OR SCANS! (or sending the item to me works also. )

I take it that you are differentiating between the CISO that was released digest size with some 12 loose maps, and the 'Revised books that were all released 8x11?

My '2nd print' has 80 pages, a glossy grey cover with red writing' 'Created and Approved...' and the '$8.00' centred at the bottom. The final entry on the last page product list is '97 Journal 15 (X)...........$1.50'

I don't know what the '1st Edition' copy is. I understood that the grey copy was the '1st Edition' of the 'Revised' City State. Was the earlier digest sized CSIO a 'Revised' edition?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Thanks for that info.
Yeah, I am differentiating this from the #3 (1st edition) and #12 (2nd edition)..in all then there are 7 'printings' of CSotIO books, 5 of which being the revised ones (8x11 sized)
So now I just need to confirm the 1st printing of the Revised CSotIO.
