So there's this copy of Dark Tower with a BIN of $44.95, but the description shows it as not being in that great a shape. So I'm curious... do any of you think it's worth it?

i sold one a while back for about £22, but mine was in excellent condition. i have another in excellent condition but not available right now. $44.95 is somewhat steep for one "not in that great shape" imo.

That was my feeling as well; glad to have it confirmed. It was tempting to grab, but after reading the description I decided to pass.

well its a real nice one to keep imo, so if youre going to spend that kind of $ to get one, hold out and get a better one, as one will undoutedly show up before long.

Yep, I agree.

It's one of the big ones I want to fill out my JG collection. Not that I've got everything they printed; I'm just looking for a few items that I used to have back in the '80s but lost. I've recently gotten CSotWE, Caverns of Thracia, Verbosh, and a few other items. Dark Tower is still on the list. And it's one of the higher priced items too. Hrm.

El Diablo:

I bought a Dark Tower in similar or better condition for less than $10 late last year. $44 seems WAY too high, especially because it's in Fair condition and a PDF of the module is available for about $3.50 on-line.

Yeah, that's the good thing about eBay, these things will keep coming along. I just have to be patient!! But it's hard!

I just sold a pretty beat up second copy I had and got ~$15 for it....I'd only spend $45 much on a mint copy for sure.

$5 for one of mine, and I think $7.22 for the other. For $44.95, I better get some oral as well.
Be patient, Mr. Roboto! Don't sink into the "I'll never see it again" or "I have to have it NOW" syndrome. You will end up broke and unhappy when it resells for $5. ALL things come to those who wait.
