so who actually got it in the end? all i want to know is if it is really original or what...

hye david...as for bidding on it, yeah it was for the other things too (which i was also interested in) and would have prb gone to about £225 and that was all...would have stopped about there....me being a cheap-skate an all

Are we nearly there yet?

Was 80-85% certain and reluctant to go higher on that under the circumstances.

A casual glance/compare with the genuine article (1st or 3rd print) would probably have boosted that to near 100%, IMO.

As to who got it, can't tell you because they've officially decided to remain anonymous.

Maybe she decided to keep it? I take it she's sold the Jade Hare and the manuscripts and WD's as well?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I have reviewed a bunch of forum posts and done some guessing and here is what I have got so far:

CONFIRMED owners of ST1's:

- Stormberg

- Dathon

- Major Axe

- Lawrenson (2 copies - if it is 3 or more, than let me know)

- Graeme Morris (I am assuming he has at least one copy)

- "Anonymous collector" who bought it from Riftvalleyman (who got it from Lawrenson)

Total confirmed: 7

SUSPECTED copies:

- Rshelley (I am guessing there is a copy to be found that is still unsold)

- Cougarrinard (2 copies? Does he really have at least two of everything? Odds are good he has this though since he is in the UK)

- Nobleknight games (don't know if he has one, but he did win Ralf's Grandmaster contest way back)

- Mike Brunton (how about it? He was a co-author - I would have kept one if I were him)

Total suspected (by me, that is): 5 copies

Grand total: 12 copies

So, that can't be it - who else has one? Who knows of someone with one?
