I haven't played D&D/AD&D for around 20 years now (my group went with 3E and now 3.5 and we've never looked back). One of my group was complaining about being bored while we are all dealing with social distancing and the virus, so I jokingly told him to get a copy of SotF. He was not impressed with my suggestion.

I dug my copy out, rolled up a bunch of characters, and sent them through one at a time. It was a lot of fun revisiting D&D/AD&D after all these years, and now I know I can kill a couple of hours if I need to. Granted, if you only like dwarf fighters, it's too easy. But if you like a challenge, try sending monks, magic-users, thieves, and multi-class characters through.

Stay healthy and stay safe!
