Hi all,

I'm listing an item on eBay that I believe some of you may be interested in.  It's a pewter belt buckle in the design of the Lady of Pain, with the unusual (unique?) feature of having been painted.  This is a licensed TSR product from 1994, manufactured by Ultimate Buckles in the UK.

The auction begins at 21:00 BST (British Summer Time) tonight, August 17th and lasts for 5 days.  The address is:
** expired/removed eBay auction **

You can also see it on my website: http://www.nessus.demon.co.uk

Good luck!

Baskii

Yes, sorry if that wasn't clear - it starts at 21:00 BST, which is 17:00 ADT(I believe that's what you have in New Brunswick?)
At least I think that's right!

Actually neither of you read the post.  It doesn't start until September 17th.  :P

It went for a value greater than zero, so I can't complain!

Just wanted to thank Baskii for giving everyone a fair chance to go for the buckle.

And sorry that you were on vacation, Garion. :( Apologies, though, as I don't intend to resell. Though congrats on winning the buckle and the flask. That was an awesome win.

(For what it's worth, I honestly have to say that I didn't think I would win Baskii's buckle, but am overjoyed beyond words that I did. Seriously. Little bright spot in life right now is an understatement. I am humbly grateful. Thanks Baskii.)

Congratulations to Azurah, but apologies to Garion - had I known you were away I would have been happy to delay the auction a few days. :-(
However, I do have one other unusual Planescape-related item that might stir some interest - this time it's completely non-TSR and unofficial, but still rather nice.  I need to take some photos but I'll post another reply here when they're up on my site.

Regards,

Baskii

Hi all,

I've just put the "mystery item" on my site.  It's on the D&D page under Planescape.
And the mystery item is (drum roll) a vintage black leather biker jacket, with the "Lady of Pain" logo painted on the back.  The "paint job" was done for me by a close friend, and is a one-off.  It's not an offical TSR product nor licensed in any way - it's just a very nice piece of work!
So, assuming I haven't disappointed anybody who was hoping for a gold-plated clockwork monodrone, please let me know if you're interested in this, would like any more details or photos, etc. and I'll do my best to oblige.

Best regards,

Baskii

Holy cow!!

That jacket rocks. It is not my style though.

Is it me too picky or the nose is a bit too "bloated"?

Anyway what a nice piece of art!

I customised a tshirt some years back with that same lop logo and the guy at the store asked me if he could keep the image to print a score more for him to sell.
He asked if it was some kind of aztec goddess or sth like that and I thought to myself... (should I explain it? would this dude ever understand it?) and then I went like: "Oh yes, kind of, mayan I believe..."

I gotta post a picture of the LoP framed print I got in my living room wall. Of course all my neighbors thing it is a Mayan Goddess.
