Hard to put a value on these. I think they're worth a fair amount, though I have seen prices ranging from $5 to over $50 for one pin alone. It depends on the day and the buyer and the particular badge I suppose. :)

I have a bunch of them and love them to death! The only one I'm missing is the Doomguard, which bugs the crap out of me. They're so nice, though! Weighty and... Planescapey and...shiny... *twitch*

Waterdeep? Never heard of it.

Yeah, I got a hold of 6 of them for £30, including the doomguard i'm afraid to say.. It's nice actually, I love how unlike the others the doomguard one is worn looking, the engraving isn't as deep so it looks suitably battered. I thought that was a nice touch.

Now I just need to locate the others.. eugh.. that was the first time id ever seen them... so yeah. I guess I wait with fingers crossed for another batch aye?

The other pins lots sold for about the same price:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

** expired/removed eBay auction **

I think there was another one that ended about the same but I can't find it right now.

How about key chains.  The seller has a bunch of planescape keychains for sale now?

Not often.  I'm not sure where the badges were made but the keychains and belt buckles and other pewter items were made in the UK so they do appear there more frequently but even at that they are very rare.

Sorry to hijack the thread but....

What film is this quote from - It's a phrase I use a lot (don't ask), but I've never been able to place it (And did wierd Al Jankovitch do a parody of it, with badgers, or do I really need to get out more!!??)

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.

"Badges! We don't need no stinkin' badges!" is from Blazing Saddles.

It itself is based on a famous line from The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, where it's "Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges! I don't have to show you any stinking badges!".  (Though many erroneously think the shorter version of the line is from there as well. ;) )

You Beauty!! (Though of course now I have to buy the DVD, to reaquaint myself to the film - if only to get more quotes to use on my children - you can never have too many resigned, disdainful looks from preteens!
