Dabus are the weird looking guys that always hang around the Lady of Pain in Sigil.  It has been awhile since I cracked open any of my Planescape books so I dont remember 'exactly' what their purpose is.  It was meant to be a Planescape-themed joke (hang around the Lady of Pain....get it?) but it looks as if some of us remember our Planescape a bit better than others.

And whaddyaknow....here is a Wikipedia reference:

Dabus are the city maintenance crew of Sigil. I don't recall ever reading anything about them being an 'entourage' of the Lady of Pain. It's not like she needs one.

I was really hoping the buckle'd slip under the radar. Guess not, lol. It'd go great with my amulet and pins :P

Hrm.. then I'd just need a hat, shirt, and a Planescape pencil-protector to become the UberGeek.

You're probably already aware of this, but Ian Burrage's store in the UK is still selling these buckles:

US-only auction from AveryApe.

"Included are Dead Gods, The Inner Planes, Well of Worlds, On Hallowed Ground, A Guide to the Ethereal Plane, Monstrous Compendium, A Guide to the Astral Plane and In the Cage: A Guide to Sigil. All these books have some wear on them but are still in decent shape."

well i guess it will be when i get my butt in gear and sort it.

i won some pins/badges (whatever you americans call them these days) off galhavoc a while ago and will be ebaying them, unless one of you collector bods are interested in them. if you are, i can provide a pic and then if your interested, just make an offer. first offer (that is not taking the proverbials) gets them.

would rather them go to a collector than to just a.n.other. if nobody shows interest i will be ebaying them next week.

thanks

Al
