We needed one of these topics, too!

Not too much that's interesting at the moment that I've seen. Maybe just this one:

cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem& ... 5&rd=1

The questions that were asked of the seller made me giggle, too. In fact, I'm pretty sure I know who wrote a few of those. ;}

Wow, his answers are pretty harsh!  Don't know if I'd be brave enough to bid with his lack of feedback and lack of tact in his answers LOL.

Heyas. What's the weight of everything? (Checking what shipping would cost me, heh) Also, you mention it's "amazingly complete", but I didn't see "On Hallowed Ground", "Dead Gods", "Faction War" or a "Planescape Sketchbook". Are those included? Cheers, - James         Jul-17-05
       A:         What you see is what you get. I took the time to write out every single little piece that's in the lot. You can take the time to read it.

Heh, that's me. If you're going to advertise something as "amazingly complete", then it had better be.. well.. at least complete ;)

There isn't much in there I don't have, so not going to go nuts on bidding. Might get to upgrade the condition of a few items if I win though, which would be nice.

I agree with both of you.

For a low feedback bidder, his answers are snippy.

I'm glad a couple of people pointed out the incompleteness of that collection. You beat me to it, so I can relax and be lazy. ;}

Though if you want to get technical, the Sketchbook isn't actually part of the main Planescape line. It doesn't have an item number or anything. >:}

Part of me dreads the day, and part of me wants to see the day, that a PS sketchbook does pop up again. I've a feeling there's going to be quite the battle for it.

Azurah, when a Sketchbook shows up on ebay, it will have an incredibly low BIN and you will be the first to see :(

Yes, well . . . I guess I should read the entire thread instead of going straight to the last post . . .  :oops:

Well, it looks to be missing the snake beside its head, but if anyone cares to email the seller and ask.... In this auction, on the back upper right, is the 11-652 Molydeus.

Sinkerberk is back with his 'complete' collection. Now starting at a mere 510 US$

Yeah, I saw that last night too. $510 is reasonable, if everything is in great shape. I wouldn't be surprised if nobody bit though - that's a large chunk of cash, and anyone interested probably has a good portion of the stuff he's selling already

What I find most odd is that he did offer cougar a SCO at the 501$ from the last run. Does he really think he can get much more out of this one? Maybe the lack of a reserve helps, but 510$ is a lot. Especially if it all gets lost :(

Here's another collection up. Slightly questionable feedback, though...

Craziness. The other lot sold for $610. The guy that bought it is legit too (he bought from me recently).

That lot is a reasonable buy at $500, but the "highlighting" comment and the lack of condition description for the rest of the stuff makes me nervous.

Too bad he doesn't mention stuff like 'maps present' with some of the books. Also the CD for the Player's Primer seems to be missing. And where is that sketchbook....? :lol:

Yeah, he doesn't mention a lot of the poster inserts for like Factol's Manifesto, Guide to Sigil etc., nor does it seem like those box sets have the actual boxes...

And you know, the sketchbook wasn't really part of the main Planescape line. ;) It doesn't even have an item number, so I'd say a "complete" collection doesn't have to include it. Though, true, it would be a happy little bonus.

If I ever find another one, Fluff, you'll be the first person I'll think of to find a home for my extra.  :D

All of these lots up for auction makes me wonder... Would it be a better sell to list the Planescape items individually, or in a lot like that?

I'm starting to doubt too whether I should sell individually or as a lot. Tell you what. I sold them individually two months. The next 'complete' lot I'll get my hands on I'll sell as such and I'll tell you.

*ponders where to find a second complete Planescape set in The Netherlands.....*

I got mine for a total with shipping: $525
2-3 Planes of.. box sets were in sw (yeah I opened them and don't recall exact number that were SWed.) Course I got everything complete, in damn good condition other then some damage to the first 2 monstrous compendiums.
