Figured I'd pop in on the chance anyone hasn't heard and is interested in the news:
Chris Avellone blesses inXile's Planescape: Torment successor
Was going to post some of the speculation-links from the last few days, but hey... that article with confirmation is much better.
Thoughts and feelings?
(I haven't completely fallen off the face of the earth, I swear. Just mostly.)
Waterdeep? Never heard of it.

I'd be excited to see another Planscape D&D game, except...
... I'm a big fan of the Neverwinter Nights 3.0/3.5 games, and I'm afraid that it's going to be 4.0 or worse...
RPG’s, D&D in particular has had a major influence in my life. It’s bonded me together with life long friends...it’s that bond in life not just as friends, but in our jokes, our mannerisms, and what we find funny. Invincible Overlord

Well, the news there is they have the Torment
IP
rights, not including the rights to Planescape. It seems
WotC
isn't involved in this.
So, no D&D settings or rules.
Waterdeep? Never heard of it.
