$150 bin

Looks like someone hit the bid button so no more BIN.  Curious to see if this one sells for more than the initial bid.

I rememeber at least three of these coming up for auction at GenCon.  If my memory is correct, I believe all three went for less than $100, some where around $80.00.

Most were bought by a buyer from Troll and Toad, in fact he was buying just about everything.  He sat in his front row seat with his price sheet and racked up the buys.

The general consensus was that prices were pretty low this year for rpg items.

This is why I am curious.  I think there have been about 5 copies (maybe more) sold in the last couple of months and 3 have sold $100 or less but one copy sold for $200.  They used to regularly sell for $150-$200 but it seems like their value is down to regularly selling in the $100 range.

Actually, a set like that, intact, has to be a pretty uncommon offering.  Interesting to watch.

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

I had quite a few of the first 4 sets a few years back and sold them all,  they sold for £20 plus each IIRC, so current price seems good.  They are difficult to get complete and I made my sets up from collecting various seperate lots.  Still got a stack of cut up bits!

At £81, that seems a fairly good deal.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Is MM&M a rare game? I remember a lot of years ago    (perhaps 1987) buying the modules and the basic game for very cheap (around 3 or 4 euros of today apiece!) from an Italian game store in my home city and playing it too  8)

Not rare no.
But some books are rather uncommon though, as Werewolf of Europe. A box set in excellent shape is not easy to find. Mainly they have split corners or other damages.

In this lot, they are all in SW. Not bad for that price.

War Mammoth for lead junkies. Don't know if the price is reasonable though.

And a big Harn collection (very overpriced BIN, but interesting as auction)

That is a big lot of harn stuff. Any idea on a practical value?

I think the seller could stand to make at least $200 if they broke it up and sold it piecemeal (especially since there are two books in that bunch I still dont have).  Maybe sell the Encyclopedia Harnica's all in one lot.  Agreed though, the BIN is ridiculous.
