Wow!

How high will this end?

Nice miniature of a giant, with many extra pieces so the owner can make his or her descisions about some aspects of the final product.

I hope a great Miniature artist/painter wins it and posts the final product here for all to enjoy...

Hi,

I remember seeing the giant (and the huge dragon) in various shops back in the day.

From memory, the giant was around $60, and the dragon $75.

Couldnt afford that sort of money then tho  :(

Cheers,
Malc

I have a plan so cunning, you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.

Thats a nice piece. I've got something similar myself with a Citadel giant that required quite some assembly. Isn't this signed piece though  :(

Yes, signed inside the back piece, see last picture, though you have to enlarge it to see the signature.

Not big on high priced minis myself and new to the fun of mini painting too, but even a newbie like me (to miniatures) can see the value of stuff like this.

This is a rare piece indeed, in the box this should fetch $1000+, like this maybe $500-$700.  Only problem is that it is missing the base, box and instructions.

The Dragon that came out around the same time is the peach though.  It is huge about the size of a chicken and is also nicknamed the chicken dragon LOL.  A boxed chicken dragon would go normally in the $2500+ tange

If you are looking for something along the same lines, but without the astronomical price tag, don't forget our friends at Otherworld:

The price will still be rather high (around $90 USD if I remember correctly from a thread on Dragonsfoot), but hey, you're still getting a big-ass giant that is a very cool model indeed.

Looks like a lot of the maps may be missing in the modules and campaign booklets though.

Looks like Noble Knight might be interested in that collection.

It would be better if he had listed which ones did not have maps rather than which ones did.
