Hey everyone,

Thought this might be interesting:

Hidden Kingdom Role Playing Game - Rare

** expired/removed eBay auction **

I'm not familiar with the item but the way it was packaged was really nice.

Is anyone here familiar with the system?

Best regards,

Ronald

It may not be an RPG fanzine but more of a generic fantasy (or novel fanzine).  A lot of those exist that contain content that could be used in an RPG.

I'll do a bit of digging too.

Here's a Rappan Athuk Reloaded at a decent, though ironic, $169 BIN:

Another example of why I should do daily searches before leaving to work.  <sigh>

That was posted this morning.
I wish I could find those awesome deals :)

I find it interesting the Wisconsin HPB still listed is in crappy shape, and the Ohio location posted their's for less.

Hey Mark,

I just saw the auction finish at US$113.62, was wondering did you find out any more information regarding the Dark Times Fanzine?

Best regards,
Ronald

I have an unverified hunch that these might have been produced by Tri Tac.  I exchanged some emails with Rich Tucholka probably 5 years ago and I am thinking the fanzine he mentioned was called "Dark Times" but I can't find the file where I was keeping track of this stuff - that was a couple computers ago.

For $6 an issue, I couldn't resist seeing them for myself to check - although I didn't think I was going to win.

Hey Mark,

Nicely done! I didn't bid on them as I don't collect fanzines but thought it was an interesting comment you had brought up previously.

Best regards,
Ronald

Even as someone who has derogated DCC#51 for being a piece of sh.. $34 is a bargain for a sealed copy (especially with the $£ exchange rate).

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Good BIN for T&T 5th ed + 2 modules? (with Ruins of myth drannor in the auction title... and T&T is listed as another auction...)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/AD-D-2nd-Editio ... 0755254919

Same seller has some other items with the same BIN (like a TG 1st ed. with 2 Thieves World books in it as well)

That's funny.  I love how generic the seller is being on that Bid/BIN set up.  Took the time for careful visual photo arrangement, though.
