Just ended. Much less than various BINs and Amazon listings have it. No surprise there.

I tossed in a token bid at the last second and was stunned to see that I came in second.  I figured it would go for a lot more.

Looks like the Pendragon lot from the same seller will end up on Amazon soon.

aside: rpgnow and drivethrustuff are nicely FUBAR at the moment; one thinks I'm in Canada while the other thinks my default language is Portuguese...

Did anyone else have a go at any of these Traveller items?

I know these are ridiculously rare but the end prices are still a bit baffling.  Besides Von Ryan's War I dont recall seeing any of these others on Ebay before.  A few of them arent even listed on any of the more popular Traveller sites.  I was under the impression that Luna: A Travellers Guide was an Ares article in a Dragon magazine.  Anyone have any additional information about these items and Star Quest Games in general?  Were they at all affiliated with Paranoia Press and if not how come they published items with their logo?  Is the Paranoia Press version of Beyond different than this version (other than the cover page)?

I'm obviously not quite as fanatical about obscure Traveller stuff as the person(s) that won some of these items but some additional background info would be nice.  :)

Seller has a number of MERP items up for auction:

Some are in better condition than others.  And the seller mentions whether the maps are included or not.

If you were to review the items I sent via media mail, they were extremely well packaged, and the buyers comment on this in my reviews for these sales.

I would still recommend stating that you are not responsible for damage done by the purchaser selecting media mail. The benefits are obvious when you consider just how many people in this world like to propagate negativity for pretty much no other reason than the fact that they can.

One of the many reasons why the seller is responsible for the condition of an item during shipping is that the buyer has no way of knowing whether the damage occured during shipping or the seller simply sent a damaged item to start with.

There is also no reason why media mail should be less safe to use as a shipping method than any other. Ship in a box and you can safely pad an media item and it will arrive safely.

What many ebay sellers do is pad their shipping prices rather than the items they are sending.
