Notice how the price drops?  Part of the Acaeum Effect is a high price...followed by dropping prices as sellers glut the market.

I've always said I want the third or fourth copy on Ebay. Cheaper that way.

Honestly never thought my Rolaids Mods would have fetched that much, considering that they were not mint. Still, I am not complaining :)

Exactly correct. I've picked up a few bargains when this happens.

This is certainly obscure:

Don't think I've ever seen anything bound quite like it.

"Obscure" seems to be the word of the day :)  The binding definitely stands out but this one is really more common that you would probably think - especially for a 1970s RPG.  Nice to see the cards are still with it.  If you are interested be sure to check that the plastic overhead sheet is still bound in near the back.

Yeah, well, just remember that it's relative.  What's not obscure to you (or a few others) may very well still be to everyone else.

Oh I know my perspective is skewed :)  I was just trying to point out that for an early RPG, Legacy is one that is on the easier side to find - a fair number (maybe 1000 or more?) must have been made and it had good distribution.

...that's the original binding, my copy has the same odd metallic holder!

PS: Mark is right, this game is "uncommon" but you can spot a copy every two months...

Rolemaster rocks!!
Plus, best combat system ever.  Genuinely exciting.

...although rolemaster must be the only roleplaying game where all the house rules are not about adding in new rules, but taking away official ones :)[/u]
