As a seller, I am far more suspicious of zero feedback bidders, than on people with 34 feedback that only bid on a few things a year. Some people have a life that does not involve the internet, and they just pop in for the odd purchase when they want to buy something. If I were to cut out buyers who hadn't been active in 90 days, I'd lose a fair chunk of my business.

I see the zero bidder as suspicious, but as a seller, I wouldn't dream of selling to a zero rated bidder if it was a RAR boxed set, and I'd refund and relist, so while the zero bidder looks like a shill, it may well be the case that the seller isn't gonna run the risk of selling to an unknown newbie, and is looking to sell to someone with feedback. That doesn't explain why no offer to the second place (who presumably is a board member, or certainly a designation I've seen many times before), but maybe the seller didn't think.

(0) bidder suspicious when read in conjunction with seller's actions.
(34) bidder seems legit whichever way you cut it.

I was the second highest bidder in the RAR.

(Ref:
** expired/removed eBay auction **
Name=STRK:MEWAX:IT )

And did receive a second chance offer. As has been mentioned it didn't 'sit right' to have to pay what appeared to be a price infalted by a '0' rated bidder (excuse was that bidder's mum didn't want to pay for it).

Not necessarily saying anything specific against the seller, just a gut feeling i had.

Now that it's relisted I'm keeping a close eye on the bidders/bidding

(I may still bid on it  )

Thanks for letting us know. If you get another second chance offer now, that would be truly weird!

This has happened a couple times in the past with me...usually on relatively minor auctions.

My reply to the seller:

Yes, I am interested in purchasing the item.  My offer is _______, which was what my bid was before a fraudulent bidder raised the price.

I am a bit surprised this has not been posted here yet.

Five Days left.

City State of the World Emperor.

Books are 1st Prints (Shops and City) and 2nd Prints (Guidebook Map 6), making this a Second or Third Print City State of the World Emperor.

I think it is 2nd Print set based on sellers date in description.

Missing only the single loose 2 sided color cover sheet which would make the printing a certainty.

The Color Cover Sheets have a JG Products list on reverse side with highest product number giving us the Printing Proof.

I would not miss the Cover Sheet much though as this set is in very nice condition otherwise.

Maps all look nice and books look unused, though seller does state marks inside books... perhaps a question about exactly what that means?

This one is easily the nicest CSWE set I have seen on E-Bay in a long time.

If I did not have a complete 2nd Print CSWE set already, I would not even be mentioning this listing until after the auction was over.

That said, I placed a healthy bid on it anyway, but not one I would expect to win it.

Good luck ya'll.

This item is not gaming-related (well, one could argue that Comet Metal Products eventually became part of Superior Models, who eventually produced fantasy gaming miniatures...) but still very cool nonetheless:

If it's the real deal, that's a fascinating piece of miniature history!

Orcfest starting at 0.99 (USD).

I recently wrote a short review for this book on the general board.

D20 Supplement Review: Orcest-adventure and learners book • Collecting General - Non TSR •  The Acaeum

Well worth the price folks.

Same seller has several copies of this book listed and a lot of other D20 offerings, most starting at only 0.99 (USD).

I'd go with that, I picked up a cheap copy recently and it was an interesting read.

Wilderlands of High Fantasy Box Set
PLUS
City State of the Invinsible Overlord

Both in the same listing.

Any bets on where this one will stop?
My guess is just $180...

I would not have listed those two items together.

This ended at $202.50.

I saw that. Has this become a reasonable price now?

So it seems for now.  The recent combined auction for IO and Wilderlands at $202 - probably puts the boxed set at $140 and IO at $60 so another $15-$20 for shrink.  I thinks a reasonable ask for the prices lately.

I have a couple items from this line.  I got them at Goodwill an age ago.  Their boxes are crumpled, but they are otherwise intact.

I considered getting rid of them...who collects this anyway?

Maybe someone does...?
